Title: Network Engineers

Job Description

1. Providing overall on-site & off-site technical service & system support for the implementation, testing, commissioning, maintenance & troubleshooting of network as well as computing infrastructure

2. Assists dept manager in providing network consultancy services to clients

3. Provides follow-up support and technical reports on the health status & issues raised on clients’ network & computing equipment as well as recommend remedial actions/resolutions.

Responsibilities:-
- Install new hardware, systems, and software for networks
- Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices
- Supports administration of servers and server clusters
- Manages all system back-up and restore protocol
- Plans and supports network and computing infrastructure
- Perform troubleshooting analysis of networking equipment, servers, workstations and associated systems
- Documents network problems and resolution for future reference
- Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam
- Requires a thorough working knowledge & hands-on experience of networking & computing essentials
- Oversee software and network security
- Conduct technical trainings
- Interface with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, and Management) to resolve related issues


Professional Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

. Mandatory: Cisco Networking Systems & Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Administration.
. Mandatory: Up-to-date Cisco’s CCNP Certification and at least Microsoft’s MCSA or MCSE (Windows 2003 Server) Certification
. Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent

Other Requisites:
. Minimum 2- 3 yrs experience in managing & supporting network & computing infrastructure
. Strong analytical abilities
. Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation skills)
. Proven ability to interact with customers in a way that gains their confidence and respect
. Ability to organize and prioritize work based on strategic direction
. Hard working, self-motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
