We are looking for a photography assistant to join our growing team to work in Shanghai’s premier rental photography studio.

Ideally, the applicant will be a graduate from Photography College or university degree and has already been working in the professional photo industry. The position will be working alongside China’s top photographers on advertising and fashion shoots at our studios in Central Shanghai.

The applicant must have experience with all kinds of studio lighting and professional camera systems, ideally Broncolor, Profoto lighting and medium format digital cameras.

The basic duties of the job include:

· Assisting in studio setting up lighting and other equipment

· 帮助影棚灯具和其他设备搭建。

· Unpacking and packing the photo equipment according to the requirements of the job

· 拆卸和打包摄影器材。

· Understanding the technical operation of all lighting and camera equipment and planning for the shooting.

· 懂得所有灯具和摄影器材的运作技巧，为拍摄做准备。

· Helping with maintenance and taking care of all studio cameras, lights, and other equipment

· 帮助维护和照看所有影棚相机、灯具、和其他设备。

· Working with digital cameras and using the appropriate software and computers

· 会用数码照相机，选用合适的软件和电脑。

· Work closely with photographers and follow their instructions

· 在摄影师身边工作，听从指令。

· Keeping the equipment storeroom in an orderly manner

· 保持设备贮藏室整洁。

· General studio duties including sometimes helping with set building and props

· 日常影棚职责有时也包括帮助建筑和道具的搭建。

· Working in studio and also on location

· 在影棚内工作，也出外景。

Requirements for the job:

· Work closely with other assistants and team members to fulfil all work duties

· 和其他助理以及团对成员和睦相处，一起完成所有的工作职责。

· Must be technically minded and practical

· 必须在技术与实践相结合。

· Must be prepared to work long hours and night time and weekend work

· 必须有长时间工作、夜间工作、周末工作的准备。

Requirements of Applicant

· College or university graduate

· 本科或大专毕业

· Minimum 2 years experience working in a photography studio or similar environment

· 之上两年在摄影棚或相关岗位工作经验

· Basic knowledge of photography including studio equipment usage

· 有照相和影棚设备运用的基础知识

· Must know how to use Apple computers and software

· 必须知道怎样运用苹果电脑和软件

· Must understand digital photo file formats.

· 必须了解数码照片文件格式

· ability to work closely with others and follow instructions

· 能与他人密切合作，并按要求完成任务

· Knowledge of English or Japanese or other language an advantage

· 懂英语，日语或其他语言可优先考虑

· must have common sense and practical mind
