JOB DESCRIPTION
Associate Research Director / Research Director- Quantitative Team
Overall Purpose of the Role :
To uphold and maintain Jigsaw International's high service standards of insights and research, and continue to enhance Jigsaw's position as the most preferred insights partners amongst credible clients.
Key Responsibilities :
? Manage relationship with clients as the preferred insights partners that lead the clients' research and insights program.
? Active involvement in day-to-day management of key international FMCG accounts and management of key projects
? Manage and grow the aspiring Jigsaw quantitative research team
? Assist the management in achieving the integration of research solutions
? New business development among established clients
Reporting To :
? Director of Customised Solutions / Consultant
Professional Qualifications And Experience :
? 8+ years of consumer research experience, primarily within the FMCG environment
? Must be number-savvy and have a proven quantitative analysis skills; proven ability in planning and executing quantitative analyses that clearly answer the research objectives
? Must have a proven ability to generate insights beyond numbers
? Proven track record in key account management and client relationship-building, and have the credibility of being the trusted research partner of his/her clients
? A proven strong ability to cut through clutters and confusing/vague elements to arrive at a clear viewof the clients' business and research needs
? Must have strong people management skills and experience in managing a team - coaching & mentoring, performance management. A team of researchers (up to manager level) will report to this role
? English and Mandarin language skills (business and conversational) are a must-have.
? Experience of working in an international research agency and on the client side is a strong advantage.
? Experience / exposure or good working knowledge of qualitative and other research tools is a strong advantage.
