RESPONSIBILITIES:
    - For the assigned NBD opportunities, act as the single point of contact representing Global Sourcing throughout the Cordis NBD process.
？- Support NBD opportunity creation with new, potential and existing suppliers. In line with Global Strategic marketing portfolio strategies, support supply market scanning and initial opportunity evaluations.
   - For selected NBD projects, support due diligence, term sheet and contracting activities.
   - For assigned NBD projects, lead cross functional teams globally and/or regionally to implement the signed Distribution contract.
   - Own and manage the supplier relationship with the assigned distribution partners as part of a cross-functional alliance management approach.
   - Continually monitor contract performance (financial, quality, supply chain) and lead performance improvement initiatives with the distribution partners, including contract re-negotiation.
   - Identification / delivery of Value Improvement Projects (VIPs) in the NBD process
   - Contribute to meeting the goals of Global Sourcing in the areas of savings, quality, delivery, continuity, and efficiency.
   - Participate in industry research and market surveys in order to stay current with best in class strategic sourcing practices and customer demands.
   - Developing strong business relationships to understand the needs of the Business Unit/Plant and the initiatives within Sourcing to develop effective sourcing strategies.

EDUCATION/TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE
   - Education: BS Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management required. MBA preferred
   - Training: Microsoft Excel, Project, and Power Point; Sales training; Project management.
   - Experience:
          o 3 years of Finished Goods Sourcing or Commercial Project Leadership experience in a high tech and highly regulated environment.
         o Experience of working with Strategic/Product Marketing to create long term incremental value via new business development is preferred

？- Proficient in managing suppliers, negotiating contracts and working on supplier development agreements
    - Strong analytical/technical aptitude & competence.
    - Demonstrated self-starter, comfortable communicating across functional levels.
    - Experience with the commercialization of new products

REQUIREMENTS :
？ - Master/Bachelor degree in Science/Engineering or related discipline
？ - At least 10 years of demonstrated success in a progressive series of strategic sourcing role, with minimum 5 years of demonstrated supervisory/management experience
？ - Working experiences with multi-national corporations in Medical Device or Health Care Industry is preferred.
？ - Lean manufacturing and operational excellence project experience is highly preferred
？ - Experienced in contract reviews and setting up pricing mechanisms with suppliers/processors.
？ - Possess good initiatives, inter-personal skills, communication skills and negotiation skills.
     - Willing to relocate to Singapore for at least 6 months in first year.
     - Able to travel on a frequent basis in Pan-Asia region.

About Cardinal Health Medical Segment Shanghai Office

Cardinal Health Medical Segment Shanghai Office was established in 2003 and managed by Singapore office. In Feb. 2012, it changed to WOFE as Cardinal Medical Equipment Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

We have two main businesses in China: global sourcing and convertors manufacturing. Global sourcing team cooperates with U.S. sourcing team to search for more resources in Asia in medical-surgical products to ambulatory care centers, physician offices, clinical laboratories and hospitals.
