职位描述：
1.Major Tasks & Job Activities
? Having a demonstrable flair for creating new products, you will be responsible for designing, developing electronics concepts, prototypes and products with a focus on cost efficiency and design for manufacture.
? Have a varied skillset, mainly experience in digital electronics, programming firmware, embedded systems, microcontrollers and work with CAD packages for enclosure and test jig design which will be required to effectively deliver the company’s product roadmap.
? Ensuring the work/results we deliver are of the highest quality.
? Create detailed technical requirements specifications and other documentation, in accordance with ISO 9001
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
? Attend project meetings by Skype and provide updates on work delivery progress

2. Person Specification
    Essentia
? Must be able to speak and write English fluently
? At least 3 years experience of design, development, testing and manufacture low-power digital electronics and embedded systems with a suitable degree qualification in electronics or a relevant discipline
? Experience in schematic design according to specifications, fault finding and debugging prototype boards.
? Excellent knowledge of design and building PCBA using Altium Designer and cable / harness manufacturing as well as their respective packaging processes and ensuring they are compatible to current manufacturing practices & processes. In addition to the design and build of relevant test-jigs.
? Experience of programming ST microcontrollers and other 32 bit microcontrollers in C
? Excellent knowledge of designing and developing products to obtain CE Certification
? Assist in resolving technical issues during both the design and development stage as well as mass production.
? To work closely with supplier factories to ensure that manufacturing defects are found and rectified as close to the point of failure as possible
? Participate in design review meetings as wells as planning meetings providing estimates of effort required
? Produce relevant documentation to support the manufacturing process both internally and externally as well as within the supply chain.
? This this includes assembly procedure’s, inspection plans as well a validation reports for new products/technologies and manufacturing methods.
? Ability to work independently, interact and contribute in a team environment that spans multiple geographical and time zones
? Technical specification, report writing and user guide generation in English
   Desirable
? Knowledge of development of GSM and GPS based devices
? Knowledge on use of CAD and modelling software e.g. SolidWorks
? Experience of working with I2C, SPI, Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy protocols.
? Knowledge of intrinsic safety
