Main goals and objectives:

Advanced driver assistance systems are one of the key strategies for Volkswagen in China. VW EE Wolfsburg has handed over the responsibility to identify and analyze requirements unique for the local market and evaluate, align and develop proposals for solutions to be handed over to the technical development in VW EE.

Scope of this position is full responsibility for EE driver assistance systems relevant tasks in C-EES. The position ensures

? Responsibility to plan, align and conduct trainings for testing EE DAS according to Volkswagen standards. Conducting and monitoring test execution by trained parties as well as identification, reporting and discussion of processes defects and improvements.

? Responsibility to define local market unique requirements for driver assistance systems and define, align and finalize technical concepts for the latter

? Responsibility to create test specifications, plan, align and conduct tests.

? Responsibility to document, analyze, evaluate and report test results of conducted tests.

? Propose, align and finalize contents of tests necessary in the local market.

? Create, align and establish test processes for approval of EE DAS in the local market as well as coordination and monitoring of established processes.

? Continuous analysis and summary of market specific regulations and laws as well as recommendations towards VW EE with regard to current and future vehicle projects

? Market research and trend scouting, cooperation with strategic partners and technology companies

? Coordination of EE DAS relevant tasks between JV, C-EE, Audi and VW EE Wolfsburg

? Alignment and cooperation with JVs, C-EE, Audi and VW EE Wolfsburg

Your Responsibilities:

? Define local market unique requirements for EE driver assistance systems and define, align and finalize technical concepts

? Create test specifications, plan, align and conduct tests as well as ensuring passing milestones.

? Document, analyze, evaluate and report test results of conducted tests

? Propose, align and finalize contents of tests necessary in the local market

? Create, align and establish test processes for approval of EE DAS in the local market as well as coordination and monitoring of established processes

? Continuous analysis and summary of market specific regulations and laws as well as recommendations towards VW EE with regard to current and future vehicle projects

? Market research and trend scouting, cooperation with strategic partners and technology companies

? Coordination of EE DAS relevant tasks between JV, C-EE, Audi and VW EE Wolfsburg

? Alignment and cooperation with JVs and other brands of Volkswagen group

Our Requirements:

Qualification and skills:

? Experience in working in an intercultural team

? Excellent skills in communication and collaboration

? High ability to solve problems even in difficult situations

? Highly self-organized and disciplined

? Highly motivated

? Experience in project management (time management / planning / monitoring)

? Engineering degree in automotive, electric, communications computing or similar

? Knowledge/Experience in analyzing in-vehicle communication

? Knowledge/experience in car infotainment systems / function

? Excellent language skills in German (written and oral) mandatory, English language skills highly appreciated, Chinese language skills highly appreciated

? More than 4 years’ work experience in the (automotive) electronic industry or similar
