Shanghai Etimaden Chemicals Co., Ltd. is the China sales company for the world’s largest producer of boron mineral ores, refined boric acid and sodium borates – Eti Maden I.G.M. in Turkey. Eti Maden is a state-owned Turkish mining company that possesses 74% of the world’s known boron reserves and supplies nearly half the world’s boron product demand. The company's sales area for boron products presently covers China.
 
The Company is looking for Business Development and Quality Expert.
 
Business Development and Quality Experts use their technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products, for which a certain level of expertise is needed.
 
We are looking for Business Development and Quality Expert who will be key point of contact for clients and provide both pre and after-sales advice. They liaise regularly with other members of the sales team and also will be responsible for:
? research;
? development;
? design, marketing;
? quality;
 
Responsibilities:
The tasks carried out by Business Development and Quality Expert includes:
? providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education;
? working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required;
? searching for new application areas who might benefit from company products or services and maximising client potential in designated regions;
? developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements;
? persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
? negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs;
? arranging and carrying out product training;
? preparing reports for head office and keeping customer records;
? supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
? making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs;
? liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
? helping in the design of custom-made products;
? providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team.
Education and Experience
? High school diploma, preferably chemical engineering or industrial engineering
? knowledge of relevant computer applications
? knowledge of administrative procedures
? numeric, oral and written language applications
? product knowledge
? English and Chinese (Mandarin)
