Controls Engineer 软件程序工程师
Main Responsibilities
主要责任：
Produces complete controls solutions and electrical design packages based on customer specification, and standardized design practices used at Mikron. In addition, requires to design and implements computer, robotics, or PLC programs specific to customer and project requirements.
根据客户要求规范，运用米克朗统一规格，提供完整的控制程序及电路设计。
Specific Responsibilities 具体责任：
1. Reports to Head of Department and the respective Project Manager during project execution.
2. Works with mechanical designers during mechanical design process to design control systems that will enable the machine to perform its intended function safely and reliably.
3. Formulates and produces complete electrical design package which includes detailed schematics, cable routing diagrams, panel layouts, bills of materials and other related documents, based on Mikron’ standard specifications and customer’s requirements.
4. Specifies all electrical and controls related hardware and software material purchases.
5. Integrates third party equipment and electronic components into complete electrical design package. Examples include serial communications, hardware handshaking, opto-isolation, vision systems, motion control products, transducers, and signal conditioners.
6. Verifies that electrical design package is complete, accurate and safe based on sound design practices and accepted standards, and that the I/O lists meet program requirements prior to issue to shop floor.
7. Provides Electrical Technician resource plan to project managers/engineers. Work with Manufacturing Supervisor to allocate resources according to plan. If need to, work with sub-con for the resources.
8. Designs programs specific to customer and project requirements based on standard Mikron’ programming methods.
9. Debugs and commissions programs on the shop floor during systems integration stage and then on the customers’ site during installation.
10. Provides thorough testing of machine functionality to verify program completeness.
11. Works with customers, project managers, designers and technicians to solve problems in order to provide the customer with a complete functional system.
12. Works with other members of the control systems design department and other groups to continuously improve methods of integrating controls technology.
13. Executes and ensures projects development meets allocated budget and schedule. Highlight to PM if can’t meet the requirements.
14. Equipped with wiring hands-on skill and able to do panel wiring and machine wiring, if needed.
15. Equipped with good trouble-shooting skill in hardware and software.
16. Provides customers with training specific to their current project, which includes electrical hardware, machine operation, programming principles, program functionality, and program structure.
17. Prepares electrical documentation as part of project documentation for customer.
18. Designs standard products including PCB design and layout.
19. Adheres to all health and safety rules and procedures.
