Primary Function
Responsible for the collection of CSA Group’s accounts receivables (global accounts) in accordance to the company’s policies and procedures.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
1) Responsible for collecting outstanding accounts receivables payable to CSA in accordance with terms and conditions of sale on a timely basis following ISO 9002 policies and procedures. Analyzes aged trial balance and individual customer accounts and prioritizes customer collections. Prepares monthly progress status reports of their area of responsibility. Secures a repayment arrangement by various methods of collection.
2) Prepares and issues “cancellation letter” to accounts and initiates the process for cancellation of Service Agreements for the accounts that have not responded to the cancellation letter. Recommends the use of a third party collection agency when internal collection efforts have been exhausted. Recommends delinquent accounts to be written off to bad debt.
3) Responsible for documenting customer correspondence and actions taken within the database.
4) Investigates, reviews and resolves customer complaints as they pertain to billing issues by contacting the appropriate personnel throughout the organization (i.e. job holder, PGA, contact management, agreements and applications).
5) From time to time, assists manager and various other departments with other ad-hoc enquiries, projects and activities on an as-needed basis.
Work Environment: Mental and Physical Effort & Working Conditions
1) Expected to work from office daily
2) Open concept/private workstation set up
3) Extensive use of tools provided (phone, personal computer with extended screen, mouse, etc.)
4) Extensive printing & scanning currently required
Education & Experience
1) 2-year College Diploma at least, finance or accounting major preferred
2) FCI designation (Canadian Credit Institute) or equivalent preferred
3) 2 years of related experience
4) Bilingual preferred, fluent in Mandarin and English
5) Good analytical & communication skills
