GENERAL SUMMARY:
? Manages and monitors day to day operational best practices as well as policies and procedures for stores in Greater China.
? Leads two PMs and guides them to achieve Operations Department goals.
? Develops best practices for stores to help drive efficiencies.
? Helps budget, monitor and control line items within Other Store Expenses in P and L.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Leading
? Leads a team of Project Managers with various duties and responsibilities:
? Develops direct reports by providing coaching regarding feedback on successes and opportunities as it relates to their current position and project work
? Facilitates career path discussions with direct reports and provides the tools and resources for them to explore future opportunities
? Driving
? Develops efficiency initiatives in alignment with Operations strategy to help stores operate. Create, implement, monitor and adjust all store best / common practices for both selling and non-selling tasks.
? Develops and owns all Daily Operating Policies and Procedures for all brands in Greater China
? Guides the implementation of strategic initiatives to the stores, considering workload, the customer and employee experience
? Provides tools and information to drive compliance and leadership with Upper Field management and store teams which assist in operating an efficient business and protects the company against legal action
? Manages several external vendors to ensure proper execution on critical projects which protect the company and drive cost savings to the Brand
? Planning
? Identifies and executes initiatives that drive simplification, profitability and productivity to Greater China stores
? Influences strategies that impact stores
? Develops and implements cost savings strategies that impact the bottom line of Greater China focusing on Store Operating Expenses
? Develops operational content as a Subject Matter Expert with the Learning and Development team to train store and Upper Field management
? Expense Control
? Monitors all store expenses for Great China, and instructs and assists store management in expense planning and control.
? Leads the PM Procurement and Supplies in establishing local vendors and develops expense saving ideas and programs.
? Manages payroll and OSE budgets to plan.
? Miscellaneous
? Completes special projects as assigned by the Director and/ or Senior Manager of Operations.
? Advances job knowledge and management skills by reading and attending training and development programs.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATION:
? Required knowledge, skills & abilities:
? Demonstrated proficiency in Store Operations or similar retailer.
? Ability to lead and develop others. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
? Minimum educational level:
? Bachelor degree preferred.
? Experience required:
? 5-7 years of retail management experience, including a preferred minimum of 3 years in retail operations position.
