Job Description

General Summary:

We are looking for an intelligent and highly motivated research scientist to assist in the development of novel antibody drugs. The candidate should have a solid background in protein science and at least three years experience in protein production and purification. The individual should have excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Protein purification and validation using assays such as ELISA, immuno-assay, electrophoresis, chromatography, and various other techniques.
2. Cell culture, stable cell line generation, and screening for cell clones producing soluble protein.
3. Validation of stable cell lines using a variety of approaches including RT-PCR, Southern blot, Western blot, etc.
4. Large-scale cell culture using a variety of cell culture systems.
5. Record and analyze data, organize databases, literature survey, write reports and present the results.

The candidates should have solid background in cell biology, or antibody development, or cell line generation and cell line processing, and have comprehensive experiences in biological drug development in industrial area abroad.
