Position Responsibilities
1、 Develop the Asian supply chain to achieve the required quality standards at lowest total cost of acquisition whilst meeting lead time objectives with lowest inventory.
2、 Source, develop, communicate and manage suppliers, including suppliers selection, assessments, and performance tracking.
3、 Develop stable long term supplier relationships based on the following:
Reliability and service
Quality
Cost
4、 Quotation and contract management for suppliers.
5、 Work with SQE to keep continually development and management for sourcing parts as well as suppliers.
6、 Identify and mitigate supply chain risk by ensuring we have a minimum of two suppliers for each key component and OEM products.
7、 Work with our Engineering and Technology Division to find new component suppliers early in the product development process.
8、 Assist the Product and Engineering Managers in finding new suppliers for one time purchase of components.
9、 Work with other departments and functions to ensure effective interfaces and support.
10、Develop and manage supplier performance improvement programs through regular meetings that discuss performance improvement by both companies.
11、Work close with international team to leverage resources in Canada and China to enhance sourcing quality and cost efficiency.
Qualification and Requirements
1、 Bachelor degree majored in electronic, telecommunication engineering, electrical or Machinery major.
2、 At least 1 years working experiences in strategic sourcing.
3、 Good knowledge of QA systems is must.
4、 Exposure to product development and design processes and systems.
5、 Good understanding of project management methods.
6、 Good negotiation skills and business management experiences is needed.
7、 Experience in the application of problem solving tools and methods
8、 Proven team development and team working skills.
9、 Good communicator.
10、Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
11、. Frequent short trip in the region of mainland may be required.
