ROLE:

As Marketing Manager in Asia, the candidate needs to work effectively as a key part of the Asia regional team to contribute towards the success of Hill+Knowlton Strategies regional growth, from the planning stages through to delivery, implementation and evaluation. The candidate will help to raise the profile of H+K Strategies and improve the brand's visibility to the company's key stakeholders. The candidate's overall aim is to: proactively lead on marketing efforts and support new business development across the Asia network, where appropriate.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

People

• To be responsible for fostering positive relationships within the agency across Asia as well as GMs, country managers and with third parties

• Be seen as a professional, value add member of Marketing and Business Development and demonstrate the value add of involving business development in new business opportunities that require multi-market input

• To build strong working relationships within the team and global network
• Able to collaborate, manage and delegate effectively within the team & Asia network

Consulting

• Opportunity Identification and Creation
• Proactively manage network relationships
• Effective and efficient management of all incoming new business opportunities direct, via website, new business number/website, network, etc
• Management of broker relationships within Asia including building relationships across teams within the network, ensuring office profiles are up to date and managing all incoming opportunities

• Website

o To have oversight of the Asia website, working closely with the global team and Asia regional markets to ensure that content is maintained and kept updated

o To have oversight of H+K Strategies' social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Weibo, working with the Asia regional markets on relevant content such as videos, postings and thought leadership articles

o Work effectively with the regional team to ensure regular update of all online content where relevant

• Assets and Resources
• Ensure credentials, case studies, bios, sector/service-specific credentials are kept updated and uploaded on iCreds and Noodles where appropriate
• Visibility
• Support with drafting and distributing news releases on client wins, award wins, appointments/promotions, new services and offerings, and monitoring for coverage
• Build positive relationships with trade and other tier-one media
• Provide support to in country teams for award entry submissions where needed

Commercial

• To read relevant press on a daily basis to develop a good understanding of the marketplace and issues relating to our clients and sectors
• To provide key support on the strategic regional and specific office new business drives where appropriate

Shanghai

· To update New Business Report

· To contribute regional publication article

· To identify and coordinate Shanghai office marketing outreach program/speaking opportunity, EMBA master class, etc.
