We now have an opportunity for a savvy and qualified marketer to join our head office marketing team in Mentone as Product Manager APAC in our Pet division.
Reporting to the APAC Pet Business Leader, you will be responsible for driving consumer and trade marketing activities within Asia Pacific for the our category-leading pet brands including Tetra®, Natures Miracle®, FURminator® and Dingo®.
This role will see you responsible for managing all elements of the marketing mix. You will analyse competitor and market behaviour in order to understand key market drivers and to develop the optimal product range. Your role will be to ensure that this range is fully supported with effective pricing, distribution and brand communication plans which deliver long term sustained growth for the category. Working closely with our international divisions, suppliers and agencies, you will also be responsible for localisation of products from the global portfolio in terms of design and packaging in order to suit the domestic consumer and retail market while staying within global brand guidelines. This role has a strong category management focus ensuring relevant trade marketing and brand messages fit within channel and retailer strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing trade marketing materials and POS to ensure that the presentation of the brands at store level reflects the overall brand strategy, fits within the specified A&P budget and achieves sales and marketing objectives. Developing and executing a digital strategy with our Digital Marketing Specialist will also be a key objective.
To be considered for this exciting role you will possess the following:
?Completed degree level qualifications in marketing and/or relevant discipline
?Similar experience in a relevant trade marketing role ideally within a consumer durable category
?Strong knowledge and experience in category management, digital and trade market activation
?Ideally have worked within an international business with global brands where NPD and marketing activities are driven in cooperation across international borders
?Experience in the pet category would be an advantage but is not essential
