Utility Engineer
Job Description:
The employee is allocated to one or more projects as Utility Engineer.
The employee is, within the contractual frame for the project, responsible for securing that the project is fulfilling the customer's requirements for utility solutions, price and quality, as well as contributing towards an efficient project execution in accordance with the time schedule.
This will take place through:
· A close dialog with the user concerning the customers' needs and requirements.
· Proposal preparation estimating man hours and price for utility deliveries.
· Execute project assignments in compliance with agreed time schedule, budget and quality requirement.
· Extensive knowledge of Chinese local regulatory requirements and standards.
· Cross disciplinary coordination, including on site inspections.
· Give new employees guidance in NP tools, systems and engineering methods.
· Maintain a professional network to NP DK.


The employee will contribute with consultancy work for utility solutions, and challenge our customers in their choice of utility design concepts/strategies.


The employee will contribute toward NP's development of execution methods and standards for utility engineering through sharing experiences, as well as collecting and distributing better practices. This can, in agreement with the Department Manager, include specific development and/or operational tasks in the department.
Qualification:
Bachelor or Master Degree in Heat Energy and Utility Engineering or related field.
You must have minimum 4-5 years' working experience in design institute or engineering company.
You must have experience on boiler and steam system, chilled water system(including chiller, water pumps etc.), cooling water system (including cooling tower, sand filter etc.), air compressor and compressed air system, HVAC hot water system (including heat exchanger, hot water pump etc.) etc black utility design.
Experience on vacuum system, special gas (nitrogen, oxygen, etc) system design is preferable.
Good skill in AutoCAD.
Good skill in 3D software, have a good command one or several kind of Auto plant, PDS, PDMS or Micro-station is preferable.
