Senior Architect

Job Description:

The employee is allocated to one or more projects as Lead Architect.

The employee is, within the contractual frame for the project, responsible for securing that the project is fulfilling the customer's requirements for architectural solutions, price and quality, as well as contributing towards an efficient project execution in accordance with the time schedule.

This will take place through:

· A close dialog with the user concerning the customer's needs and requirements.

· Proposal preparation estimating man hours and price for architect deliveries.

· Execute project assignments in compliance with agreed time schedule, budget and quality requirement.

· Extensive knowledge of Chinese local regulatory requirements and standards.

· Cross disciplinary coordination, including on site inspections.

· Give new employees guidance in NP tools, systems and engineering methods.

· Good architectural design and site management experience from EPCM project.

· Good communication skills with foreign engineer.

· Good skills both in architecture and general plot plan.

The employee will contribute with consultancy work for architectural solutions, and challenge our customers in their choice of architectural design concepts/strategies.

The employee will contribute toward NP's development of execution methods and standards for architectural engineering through sharing experiences, as well as collecting and distributing better practices. This can, in agreement with the Department Manager, include specific development and/or operational tasks in the department.

Qualification:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in architecture or equivalent.
• You must have minimum 10 years' professional experience, minimum 5 years' experience as architect-in-Command, minimum 3 years' experience from industrial factory building design, preferably in pharmacy design field.
• Managerial skills, creative and constructional design skills. Experience in making tender material (drawings and specifications). Some experience from international projects.
• Good skill in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and 3d Studio Max etc. relevant Architectural 2D & 3D design.
• Mastering of written and spoken English.
• Team leadership skills. Good at establishing and overview of the project and delegating work. Cross-cultural understanding and good communicative skills. May be an existing Team Leader.
• Knows all design phases work both in architecture and general plot plan such as Concept Design, Preliminary Design, Basic Design, Detail Design, Cost Estimate, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Analysis, and Tender document preparation & evaluation for civil contract etc.
• Site management support.
