JOB DESCRIPTION

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

You'd be part of our expansion efforts in China and working closely with the founders in further localization of product, partnership/business development, sales, hiring, branding, and events. We have a cool product and is getting a lot of traction in Asia. If you want to be in edtech in Asia, this is as exciting as it gets! We assure that each day will be different and you will grow both professionally and personally.
Business Responsibilities:
? Research and build relationships with new partners to promote Cialfo's brand presence in China
? Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging networks and close deals.
? Locate potential business deals by contacting partners such as education consultancies, international and bilingual schools, independent counsellors, and more; maintain good relationships with partners and clients in the target market.
? Meet potential partners for product integration and/or collaborations
? Work with product team in Singapore to further localize the product and platform for Chinese clients
? Organize events for Cialfo to build the edtech community and promote Cialfo's brand. Find speaking opportunities and represent Cialfo in edtech and other relevant events in China.
Job Qualifications
? At least 6 years of work experience in sales or marketing in the education/edtech industry in China
? Fluent in both (written and spoken) Chinese and English is extremely important
? Work experience in a consultancy, agency, or private school is preferred.
