Tasks and Responsibilities:
The main tasks and responsibilities are:
? To provide electrical engineering support to all project work where this is required for new and existing products
? To support the production and Project&Engineering manager working with client and suppliers to deliver automatic/intelligent products & solutions meet market needs, applicable function and compliant with industry standards
? Provide engineering support and evaluation from debugging, production yield and design-to cost perspective,
? Provide technology in terms of electronics design, design reviews and solution projections during new product developing.
? Work on Briefs and Technical Specs for New Product Development. Produce accurate electronics design data including, but not limited to, specifications, manuals, schematics, bills of materials, costing, source codes, mechanical drawings, engineering instructions, illustrations, test procedures, etc. Ensure all technical deliverables well documented and managed
? To track and follow progress of all electrical engineering work progress, focus is on new developments, prototyping and production testing machines
? Create, review and refine technical specifications for (1) new products and (2) components, discuss and implement with RD-D and suppliers
? Market research on potential new products/components to enlarge RD-D product portfolio
? Set up product assessment center to
o test potential new products with regards to lifecycle & functionality and document the results
o analyze the supplier documentation against own test results
o check compliance of potential new products against European guidelines
? To fulfill these duties and responsibilities it is necessary to maintain a constant stream of communication between the other departments, the manufacturers and RD-D
? Assist and Aid QC in the analysis and solving of problems and issues as they occur
? Planning and controlling of sample delivery until mass production
? Participate in project planning and meet committed timelines, report related information regularly, or project status through clear written communications
? Work with testing team to develop and implement appropriate test processes, tools and procedures. Generate test reports on regular basis. Maintain up dated records of all electrical engineering tests, parts and documentation in good order and ready for viewing

Skills:
? Bachelor degree major in electrical engineering or related(ideally in the area of automation or telecommunications or production technology or mechatronics)
? Min. of 3 yearwork experience as R&D or quality assurance engineer or a technical product manager in a mid to large size company with either a lot of European (or Western) customers or colleagues
? Must have experience in electronics development, capable in PCB design, layout & debug, expert with tools like Protel, Cadence, etc; advantageous would be experience in the Home Automation Industry
? Experienced in EMC testing & compliance
? Experience of Single Board Computer Development would be an advantage
? Know How in (all or just some of) the areas of RF communication, drive & motion, production test technology, SMT technology, PCB material, Smart Home Technology (companies with z-Wave, ZigBee, Bluetooth, Wifi, or other products), product certification against the European guidelines, …
? Basic knowledge of mechanics
? Curious to know how a product works and which application the customer might want
? Good networking capabilities, not only interested in technique but also economics
? English (MUST, level as Sally) and German (nice to have) language skills
? Being able to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as being able to fit in with a very dynamic, fast pace and global team. 举报 分享
