Purpose:

Assist production Manager and take over the responsible of the production when the production manager is not present.
Ensure an optimal (best in class) production flow.
Main assignments:

Product planning in SBCN
Ad hoc production related tasks.
Carry out projects in production and cross departments
Introduction of new employees in production
Implement manufacturing schedules and procedures and allocate labour and capital resources to maximise productivity in coordination with Production Manager
Liaise with functional or operational area managers (for example in supply and logistics, or sales) to understand their current and future product needs and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities.
Plan, prioritise, and manage production line maintenance or downtimes in alignment with guidelines from production Manager to minimise disruptions to manufacturing schedules
Assist in implementation of new shop floor modules
Qualifications:

Educated as an engineer, mechanical/production engineer or similar technical education. with knowledge about mechanical and hydraulic components. Basic knowledge of electric components.
Leadership experience at a minimum level and potential for more.
English skills in both writing and spoken
Profound skills in MS office
Skills in various production optimizing programs, such as 5S, Lean, Six Sigma etc. is preferred
