Responsibilities:


Work with broad range of ISC (Industrial Scientific) gas detector products
Responsible for all aspects of estimation, planning, project delivery, measurement and quality. Must be capable of leading multiple projects to pass gate review & project release
Focus on sensor project development as a senior engineer
Cooperate with US/Europe/Asian Engineering, Manufacturing and Marketing team to deliver high quality sensor product & provide necessary sustaining support after product release
Provides leadership for sensor team by building an environment and culture that will attract, retain and develop engineering talent
Build a high-performance culture that delivers predictable, well-defined products that are on-spec, on-time, and on-budget.
Adjusts the workload and schedule to ensure commitments are achievable and develops operating rhythms and rigor to insure timely and proactive communications.
Monitors team progress and provide assistance as necessary when goals are in jeopardy.
Effectively engages and proactively reports on project status and plans both internally and cross-functionally.
Ability to coach and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications:


BE/ B. or above, the major should be chemical / material relevant
5+ years of experience in industrial instrument sensor domain
Experience with LEL or EC (Electrical Chemical) sensor design, sustaining relevant will be plus
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be able to work with cross functional team effectively communicate ideas
Demonstrated understanding of Stage-Gate development process
Excellent language skill on English reading, speaking and writing
Must have mechanical aptitude to work with tools in tearing down product assemblies
Preferred - Experience in industrial gas detector product
