Job summary:

The Sustaining Engineer is responsible for all Engineering aspects of product sustaining activities (product life cycles) and implementing product and process changes within the ISCAP Engineering scope

Qualifications

· High moral standard, with high integrity and honesty, motivated and a team player.

· Bachelor's degree in electronics or electrical engineering required.

· Minimum of 5 years of working experience in sustaining engineering and/or new product development environment with focus on hardware design & verification process.

· Working experience of hardware develops tools (Schematic, PCB layout) and firmware develops tools (MCU/Processers).

· Proven ability of PCBA board troubleshooting with appropriate tools, and sustaining product technical support including EOL components replacement.

· Excellent communication skills and fluent in English

· Working experience with Mechanical develop tools (2D, 3D drawings) highly preferred.

· Working knowledge of new product development process is a plus.

· Working experience in medical industry is highly preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Establish and maintain all design related documentation to keep the integrity of technical specification for legacy products regarding electronic, mechanical, software code.

· Establish procedures for implementing engineering changes to components and products, and lead executing of validation process.

· First tier technical support for product quality defects from both production and customer return. Ability to identify root cause issues and mistakes. Support material review board to the disposition of nonconformance components and products.

· Responsible for production troubleshooting/continuous improvements.

· Technical support of testing fixtures for design/build/validation/implementation/maintenance on production floor.

· Lead and responsible for components obsolescence and replacement qualification processes.

· Support new production lines buildup and V&V.

· Support component/part local sourcing through production pilot runs and supplier consolidation/transfer qualification processes.
