Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with sourcing activities as directed by Merchandiser / Senior Merchandiser.
• Update project trackers to ensure progress is accurately recorded and reported.
• Ensure all administration work is completely accurately and promptly, including maintaining up to date project files.
• Assist in organizing buying trips and Itineraries.
• Prepare and review Quotations, with input from Supply Chain and QA.
• Administer incoming samples from vendors and outgoing samples to headquarter.
• Check artworks and packaging when required.
• Work with vendors and QA to ensure sample seals are kept on-track.
• Prepare and administer completion of vendor profile, PAQ & factory visit report.
• Provide cover for Merchandiser's when they are out of the office.
• Develop and maintain good communication and collaboration with Quality Assurance, and Supply chain to ensure effective project delivery.
• Develop and maintain good communication with suppliers and customers.

Requirements:

• 3 to 4 years work experience with buying office or trading preferred;
• Product knowledge in Bathroom Furniture, Taps & Showers, or Tiling is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, sound PC skills such as MS words, excel, power point, strong self motivation;
• Fluent in written and spoken English
