职位描述：
Responsibilities:
1. Assess and validate quotations and prices for PetSmart’s Asia imported products.
2. Enhance PetSmart’s price negotiating capabilities by providing product teams with detailed and comparative input data for all cost factors that factory/suppliers use to calculate price quotations.
3. Maintain an up to date database of local market prices by product category for key cost input that determine product prices.
4. Support the development of negotiating strategies to reduce product prices.
5. Maintain a product and factor cost database for comparing supplier quotes and identifying margin improvement areas.
6. Maintain historical price quotations by factory/supplier by product and product category.

Skills/Capabilities/Experience:
1. Strong computer and database management skills.
2. Financial and technical language skills in Chinese and English.
3. Conversational English skills for communicating with US management personnel.
4. Familiarity with product costing in a manufacturing environment.
5. Familiarity with development of quotation calculations for Cost of Goods, product markups and gross margin.
6. Market research capabilities to identify and quantify relevant local market materials costs, commodity costs, labor and benefit costs and manufacturing operating costs.
7. Market research capabilities into pricing and costs in pet supply industry sectors in China.
