Job description
Analysis engines cost situation and changing trend. Provide the cost optimization for new design, VA/VE, resourcing and localization activities in order to meet cost control target and make sure company product cost with strong market competitiveness.
Responsibility
? Cost analysis and estimates engine component material and tooling and establish a “should cost model”
? Development and continuous improvement of cost optimization for new design, current products, resourcing and localization, VA/VE and competitor analysis
? Visualization of cost gaps between supplier quotes and target costs
? Based on planned designs or current technical solutions: provide technical improvement solutions and alternatives in order to optimize material or tooling costs
Qualification
? Bachelor of Engineering with additional commercial knowledge
? Minimum 5 years engineering work experience in manufacture process with deep engineering knowledge including but not limited stamping, casting, forging, powder metallurgy, E&E.
? Good cost sense and familiar with cost structure.
? Good communication skills, include English, and teamwork spirit.
? Good skill’s for Microsoft office.
