Reporting directly to the Sales Director, China and based in the AVT office in Shenzhen, you will fill an important regional role for the commercial organization.
The Sales Manager, Southern China will be held responsible for
1. implementing the strategic direction assigned by the Sales Director of China
2. developing regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets
3. supporting and growing channel sales activities within Southern China
4. developing new direct accounts to become key accounts
5. management of credit terms and payment performance of channel partners and direct accounts
6. the P&L performance of all sales transactions
7. “playing by the rules“ - sticking to the code of ethical conduct and
8. management rules set by the board of directors
9. anticipating market trends and recommending strategic action plans to enhance competitive position for the organization

Requirements
1. Quality-oriented professional with a reputation for self-discipline, service, satisfaction, and results
2. Effective leadership skills to build highly motivated, productive, and diverse sales teams in Southern China
3. minimum of 7 years of experience working in sales positions
4. more than 5 years of industry experience in electronics, optics, automation control or image processing would be an asset, experience in electronics /automation control / vision distribution would be equally rated.
5. track record of building a sales organization and addressing channel partners.
6. Extensive network in industry market, preferably in system automation/ automated inspection industry segments.
7. Extensive traveling within Southern China
8. Minimum bachelor degree with the major preferably in electronics engineering, physics, optics, automation control and computer science
9. Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
