职位描述：
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all specifications for each new product is clearly understood by PetSmart vendors.
2. Ensure prices and terms meet PetSmart goals.
3. Negotiate 1st price quotes, minimums and deliveries with factories/suppliers for all new products.
4. Inform US PD staff of all changes required to either commercialize new product and/or meet price targets.
5. Re-negotiate prices based on changes authorized by US product development.
6. Ensure 1st samples and supplementary materials are on time and meet US product development and US Merchandising requirements.
7. Ensure the body of new product data handed off to Asia purchase planning department is complete and correct.

Skills/Capabilities/Experience:
1. Spoken and written English
2. Understand basic business finance concepts and interface/discuss these in English with US and China teams:
a. Margin calculations
b. Delivery lead times
c. Business terms
3. Sourcing/Trade office routines:
a. Positively manage relationship with factory customer service personnel
b. Mange sample flow
c. Conduct new product negotiations:
i. Product prices
ii. Minimum order quantities
iii. Sample deliveries
iv. Delivery lead times
d. Interface with US teams about all new product issues.
4. Understand basic manufacturing requirements:
a. Material characteristics, key quality concerns and cost implications
b. Construction steps, constraints and cost implications 举报 分享
