Role Summary:
The Communication Designer will be responsible for the design of a wide variety of graphics, branded environment, signage and way-finding projects. The designer will work as a key partner on fast-paced interdisciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers and more that deliver projects ranging from strategic planning to corporate and retail interiors. The Communication Designer will deliver creative solutions in a diverse range of markets including hospitality, retail, restaurants, showrooms and exhibitions.

Core Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Creative Director and partner up with Account Managers and Lead Designers to lead and manage design development of creative projects that achieve client’s project objectives;
- Conceptualize, create and implement brand strategy, visual identity, basic packaging, signage and way finding and environmental graphics in corporate, cultural and commercial environments both individually and in a team;
- Display a good understanding of spaces, interior and exterior for the purpose of integrating branding and signage elements;
- Assisting presentation for both architecture and interior teams as well as helping marketing graphic needs;
- Creation and maintenance of design guidelines and manuals;
- Have an interest in all aspects of graphic design and a willingness to learn aspects of other design disciplines;
- Have a great sense of typography, color, shape, composition and layout;
- Be able to quickly visualize ideas to illustrate a concept to be understood by designers and non-designers alike;
- Be able to read floor plans and elevations or interest to learn this skill;
- Must have strong project management skills, ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities, anticipate demands, coordinate stringent deadlines and properly estimate time to complete work;
- Readiness to take on significant challenges and contribute to company’s growth, while maintaining integrity under pressure.
 
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Environmental Graphic Design, Signage, Way-finding and Branding and with a professional degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design or a related field;
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or visual communications (or related field, with relevant experience);
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite;
- Additional software skills (Sketchup, Flash, HTML, Auto CAD, 3DMax etc.) are a plus;
- Works well as a member of a team and likes to help out others;
- Good communication in both Mandarin and English. 举报 分享
