Due to our continued growth in the Asia Region we now have a great opportunity for a commercially strong and strategically minded person to join the senior leadership team in our Greater China region based in Shanghai.

As a senior country manager reporting to the Regional General Manager Asia you will be responsible for leading and motivating the Sales and Market Development channel teams in China (comprising of Corporate and New Business, Leisure, Online Direct and Reservations and Ticketing). Your previous experience at achieving sales, revenue, growth and yield targets for these channels will be vital to your success in this role.

You will lead, inspire and motivate your teams to exceed their targets and to make a broad and positive contribution to the region as well as building a successful and effective inter-relationship between the Commercial team and other key regional teams within Air New Zealand.

Your strategic orientation and strong business background will ensure you deliver with a clear sense of purpose and direction in relation to the commercial agreements and the business planning process. You will be able to handle the competing demands of traditional and modern channels coupled with a creative yet credible approach to new and progressive revenue opportunities.
