Due to our continued growth in the Asia Region we have a unique opportunity for a commercially strong and strategically minded person to drive value creation through the development of new and existing revenue streams and strategic commercial relationships with key industry partners.

Reporting to the Regional General Manager Asia and based in Shanghai you will challenge accepted practices and champion change while seeking opportunities for different and innovative approaches which can expand the revenue base and add value to the Air New Zealand brand proposition and customer experience.

Key opportunities include growing revenue in a highly competitive market, identifying and securing third party business as well as developing sound and close relationships at all levels. The need to effectively develop business across multiple markets and with multiple partners, both internally and externally will also be essential to your success in this role.

To be considered for this position you will have a degree or equivalent in a business related discipline, along with at least 5+ years experience performing at a high level in providing strategic input as part of a senior management team. You will also have solid commercial awareness and interpersonal skills as well as being a proven negotiator with the ability to identify and implement new business opportunities.
