Due to our continued growth in the Asia Region we now have a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced Finance Manager who will be responsible for providing high quality financial leadership across Hong Kong and China.

Based in Shanghai and reporting to the Finance Manager Asia your key focus will be to support the Greater China management team in its planning, operations and decision making, to ensure that sales and route profitability for the region is maximised. You will also be required to identify and improve efficiencies within the finance function as well as the areas of procurement, IT, payroll and properties.

You will provide leadership within the team creating a high performing group of commercially aware professionals in line with strategy and objectives of the business. In addition this role involves strategic analysis where you will identify business performance weaknesses and recommend improvement opportunities.

Your knowledge of company, statutory and legal obligations within the Greater China region and how they affect Air New Zealand will stand you in good stead as you ensure that strong management and financial controls are maintained.

To be considered you will have broad commercial and business management experience in large organisations (at least 5+ years) and relevant professional qualifications. You will also have extensive project management, technical and communication skills with the ability to influence; think strategically and act decisively.
