Job Description:
? Design, lead and deliver a coordinated quality assurance work plans at manufacturing sites, which meets or exceeds customer requirements.
? Utilize lean tools, methodologies and disciplines throughout quality management system and work with manufacturing site’s leadership to ensure processes which enable quality to be cost effectively built into the product.
? Lead problem solving process into the escalation process enhancing customer satisfaction.
? Manage quality control, compliance, inspection, incident system and customer quality management departments, in cooperation with plant’s quality manager.
? Provide customer quality assurance leadership for the products and services of the company and assist in assuring the achievement of the optimum quality costs for the company.
? Focus on such areas as potential liability of the company's products, the reliability and safety of all products, and the minimization of such hazards in achieving full customer quality satisfaction.
? Assure and contribute to the regular collection and analysis of quality metrics to measure the business effectiveness of the quality program for achieving optimum balance among prevention, appraisal, and failure costs.
? Insure proper capture, organization, and distribution of company procedures and support documents.
? Oversee the set-up and ongoing operation in the manufacturing sites, of both incoming material and final product inspection processes. Oversee all quality inspections and audits.
? Organize and facilitate regularly scheduled training or work sessions with staff as needed to educate and implement quality methods and ensure compliance.
? Support project teams in quality activities by educating, coaching and mentoring others on process improvement philosophy, tools, and applications.
? Support and manage cross functional team at the manufacturing sites, in cooperation with plant’s management team, in order to secure proper program launch – APQP/PPAP.
? Lead execution of periodic on site and/or remote quality operational system (QOS) reviews with assigned manufacturing sites.
? Active member of cross functional teams that support and lead the implementation of foot print strategy in the applicable market.
? Work in cooperation with Program Managers, in order to secure readiness compliance with program launch.
Qualification:
? Quality Professional with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience, including 8+ years of management experience leading quality assurance processes in growing organizations. In special at manufacturing sites and customer service.
? An individual with solid academic training, in special bachelor / master degree in science and/or technology. BA/BS degree, preferably in engineering.
? Strong 6Sigma and 8D problem solving methodologies – RED “X” convergence is an advantage.
? A proven track record of quality system implementation experience.
? Skilled in conducting studies and investigations, problem analysis, and developing logical and documented recommendations.
? Skilled in interpreting and applying product specifications, technical data, regulations, policy statements, and other guideline materials.
? Demonstrated ability to lead in a collaborative environment with a positive leadership style and a hands-on approach that emphasizes team work, collaboration, influencing, motivating, and consensus and team building.
? Skill in establishing effective interpersonal relationship and able to influence others without direct control.
? Professional in metals, plastic and electronic parts, and prefer seating or interior industry background.
? Excellent oral and written English skills.
? Must be a results-oriented, take-charge, hands-on leader who is organized, focused, and an excellent communicator and team builder who is highly professional, must be skilled at developing and leading teams from the ground up and you must lead through example.
? Willing to work under pressure.
? Frequent travel might be required.
