Report to Tax Manager of Arkema Great China

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support to improve tax compliance quality for all Chinese entities, such as: apply local regulation and the tax policy of the group;
Support to improve tax internal control and feedback tax risks of all Chinese entities of the group in time;
Support in ad hoc tax projects, and support to indicate potential tax risks.
ACTIVITIES
The tax officer should support tax manager with respect of tax matters in Great China. Its main tasks are to :
1. Proactively assist tax manager to analysis and inform the group about the evolution of tax regulations and relevant impacts;
2. Assist tax manager to hold internal tax trainings;
3. Proactively analysis how accounting departments calculate, declare and pay local and national taxes in the different entities, discuss and feedback the tax compliance control deficiency with tax manager;
4. Collect and assist to check / analysis annual tax results of entities;
5. Assist in tax / TP audits, assist in preparing required documents;
6. Support tax manager in tax related as hoc projects;
7. Proactively develop good relationship with BU, in order to better support their business;
8. Assist tax manager to review tax clause and TP principle in agreement;
9. Proactively support head quarter tax department / tax manager and partially take lead of TP documentation preparation；
10. Ad hoc tasks assigned by the company.
JOB DIMENSIONS
Support tax matters for 25 Chinese entities, located in different cities, such as: Shanghai/Changshu/Beijing/Guangzhou/HK/Taixing/Hengshui and Zhangjiagang
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
1. One year contract.
2. Regulated environment, complex and changing accounting and tax policies.
3. Communicate with internal departments and external authorities/ parties.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. Bachelor degree in Taxation/Financial management
2. Solid technical knowledge and experience in taxes and accounting
3. Good personalities to work with, good communication skills in both Maderine and English and willingness to interact with all business functions and levels of management
4. Good analytical and synthesis skills, good business & commercial sense
5. Able to work under pressure and time constraints
