Responsibilities:

Ensuring funding needs of GM subsidiaries / JV?s are covered
- Structuring appropriate debt financing for GM entities including direct dealing / negotiation with banks & financial institutions
- Structuring and Coordinating equity injections
Merger, Acquisition, Divestitures and legal entity restructuring
- Supporting GM?s growth through strategic acquisitions and sale of non-core assets through strategic and financial analysis
- Serve as team member of cross-functional project teams responsible for due diligence, deal structuring and negotiations with relevant parties on all phases of a transaction
Optimizing capital structure
- Recommend optimal capital structure for various GM entities in the region
- Framing dividend policy
Directing risk management activities
- Recommend appropriate FX hedging strategies for ~$7 Billion+ p.a. of FX exposure in GMIO
Operating Cash Flow (OCF) management
- Monitor / report and analyze on monthly basis OCF for GMIO entities
- Identify and execute cashflow improvement initiatives
Providing financial and strategic support for other corporate initiatives
- Supporting special projects within the region


Qualification:

Strong academic background, with particular emphasis on finance; a background in economics, accounting, engineering or operations is also valuable.
Attractive candidates also demonstrate strong analytical and organizational abilities, as well as effective oral and written English communication skills.
Knowledge of Mandarin is desired. Importantly, they also have a high level of interpersonal skills and an ability to function effectively as part of a team.
