Responsibilities:
？ The successful candidate will join the AkzoNobel Personal Care Group in Songjiang, China
？ Be responsible for the formulation and evaluation of cleansing and conditioning products (including shampoos, body washes, and conditioners), skin care products (including sunscreens, skin and body lotions and powders), and styling products (including hairsprays, gels and mousses). Strong experience in formulating with a broad range of polymers and surfactants is a requirement.
？ The position responsibilities include problem solving and trouble-shooting to support current product lines and customer formulas.
？ The applicant should have good multi-tasking, organizational, and communication skills (written and presentation).
？ The successful candidate will interface internally with the sales, marketing, product development, and manufacturing groups
？ External interaction with customers to fulfill product or formulation needs within targeted cosmetic markets.
Requirements:
？ MS degree in Chemistry or related field.
？ More than five years experience in cleansing and conditioning and / or skin care formulation & applications.
？ Polymer and surfactant experience desired.
？ Candidate must want to perform hands-on bench work.
？ Fluent in Mandarin and English.
？ Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with all levels within the technical and business networks.
？ 10-15% travel required
