职位描述
General Accountability
The Key Account Manager will support the Sales, Marketing & New Business Development Director (hereafter Sales Director) in implementing EHC’s sales strategies with customers in the Eastern Region. Assists with the development of China sales, marketing, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies. Is responsible for meeting established sales and marketing targets for specific accounts or territories. Manages the sale of non-lift component PU products and/or services by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects in China. Develops short and long-term sales objectives for specific accounts or provinces and sets up and maintains business procedures for PU products sales and service to achieve related company and departmental goals. Based on information gathered, recommends or requests action to improve existing products, pricing and/or distribution.
Major Responsibilities
1.0 Team Leadership
a) Responsible for recording, prioritizing, and tracking progress of all assigned projects. Communicates the priority and assignment of tasks to other team members.
b) Responsible for project management of Sales & Marketing implementations. These duties extend throughout the organization therefore at times requiring travel to other sites.
c) Responsible for researching, planning, recommending for approval, and leading Sales improvement projects. Provides progress reports on active improvement projects.
d) Responsible for ensuring that the project related procedures are fully documented. Procedures and training materials must be complete, accurate, and well organised.
2.0 Sales
a) Is responsible for exploring the China market for non-lift component PU products to achieve revenue goals to achieve qualitative and quantitative sales objectives
b) Assists Sales Director to develop departmental goals and strategies
c) Responsible for regional accounts management
d) Responsible for the needs analysis, business development, sales negotiation, installation, or delivery and after sales services.
e) Develops and maintains relationships with new & existing customers and provides information to fully realise the company sales goals & strategies.
f) In conjunction with the Sales Director develops an annual market needs forecast based on customer needs and industrial trend analysis. Assists with monthly revisions to ensure accurate sales forecast and material forecast are met.
g) Identifies the elements of competitor characteristics as strengths and/or weaknesses in terms of financial status, product quality, delivery performance, promotion, price, and distribution strategies.
h) In conjunction with the Accounting Department, upholds EHC credit control policies & procedures to ensure sound account receivable performance.
3.0 Reports
a) Participates in the corporate ST Chart process for improved planning and progress reporting.
b) Provides required reports in a timely basis
c) Researches and compiles economic, political, social, legal, & cultural information relative to the Chinese market that would have a direct impact on market share in the short & long term.
d) Builds & develops competitors’ profiles consisting of location, size, personalities of key players, percentages of geographical and/or global market share.
e) In conjunction with the Sales Director collects market information (market needs, industrial trend, product, customer, competition) to assist with the design of marketing strategies and marketing mix plans
4.0 Health & Safety
a) Maintains a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to current legal regulations and EHC Health & Safety policies and procedures.
b) Adheres to EHC Knowledge Management procedures
c) Safeguards all EHC commercial information
5.0 Quality
a) Maintains quality service to EHC by following EHC and ISO quality standards
b) Collects all information pertaining to customer expectation in terms of quality, deliver, and design features, etc.
6.0 Professional & Technology Knowledge
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
7.0 Team Effort
Contributes to team effort by participating in work teams and accomplishing results as needed with the different facilities or departments
KEY ATTRIBUTES
a) Completion of a 3 year college education specialising in PU material or product engineering or research and development fields, preferable PU elastomer related.
b) Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a Sales & Marketing area of a PU product industry enterprise
c) Working knowledge of ISO 9001 environment
d) Demonstrated in-depth experience and knowledge of Microsoft office computer skills
e) Demonstrated in-depth experience and knowledge with advanced presentation and negotiation skills
f) Able and willing to travel throughout China on a consistent basis.
g) Good commands on written and spoken English is a must.
