Role Title Director, Account Management and Commercial Planning
Reports to Chief Operating Officer
Location Shanghai, China

MY CLIENT is a fashion, beauty and lifestyle technology company based in Shanghai and Hong Kong. They are developing the first digital, social commerce platform for launch in China in Q4 2016.
MY CLIENT is founded by three corporate investors. They are founded with a seed investment in excess of USD 50 million. Their founding investors collectively are a market leader in bringing global luxury and designer brands to China from all over the world and connecting these brands to the Chinese consumer in Greater China.

Duties and Responsibilities
? Responsible for driving the GMV of Online platform platform through close partnership with Brand Partners.
? Partner with Business Development and Operations team on successful brand on-boarding.
? Drive the strategy in managing Brand Partner relationships:
? Ensure that Brand Partners are providing strong merchandise mix with competitive pricing.
? Secure Discounts/Exclusive Product/GWP from Brand Partners in order to attract traffic and increase conversion rate.
? Manage and monitor Brand Partner’s inventory plan, promotional plan, fulfillment, and customer service.
? Drive Brand Partner’s adoption of “Merchant Centre” – Online platform’s back-end system built for Brand Partner’s back-end operations (store setup, order management, return handling, customer service).
? Partner with Platform team on managing the in-app campaigns, as well as delivering appropriate in-app exposures for brand partners.
? Support Marketing in driving user acquisition and user retention by leveraging merchandise and marketing assets of Brand Partners.
? Leverage Curator & Content team to drive exposure for key merchandise and brands through Online platform’s Curator network and Online platform’s magazine content.
? Partner with Product and Technology team on providing feedbacks on system bugs, improvements as well as new feature developments.
? Work with Operations and Product team on developing required analytics reports. Adjust strategy appropriately based on analytics.
? Partner with COO and Finance on monthly and annual forecasting and budgeting.
? As member of senior management, provide insights and market feedback to help steer overall company strategy and direction.


Requirements
? 10+ years of retail experience, and 3+ years of e-commerce experience.
? Familiar and knowledgeable about the fashion industry, particular in the accessible luxury / luxury and international brands sector.
? Knowledge on beauty and lifestyle categories is a plus.
? Excellent communicator; Strong leadership.
? Strong quantitative abilities; Strategic mindset.
? Organized and detail-oriented.
? Strong command of written and spoken Mandarin and English.
