Responsibilities

Responsibilities
？ Responsible for supplier quality management tasks assigned according to company process and procedures
Tasks
？ Observe supplying markets
- Support buyers to analyze supplier markets by visiting exhibitions and announcements as well as technical manuals.
- Support buyers to monitor new market developments and new suppliers for new technologies.
？ Conduct audits for supplier selection
- Together with buyer, do risk analysis at suppliers
- Conduct system audit and process audit at supplier sites
- Evaluate risks of quality, process and capacity of suppliers
？ Implement advanced quality planning projects for all high/medium risk parts
- Monitor APQP process and timing at suppliers
- Verify supplier process and quality control
- Solve technical and quality problems at suppliers
- Approve or assist on approval of supplier PPAP
？ Implement supplier management after SOP
- Manage engineering changes (design, tooling, process, etc.) with suppliers
- Planning and Conduct regular process audit at suppliers
- Do supplier assessment (SAM) for quality aspects
- Support plant SQA to handle defects of supplier parts (8D), follow up containment and corrective actions
- According the commodity quality target to sign the quality agreement with local supplier.
- Monitoring supplier quality performance, Drive supplier improvement to meet the quality target.
- Implement continuous improvement actions at suppliers
？ Develop local suppliers to meet ZF requirements
？ Work closely with global commodity team for strategic tasks
？ Support plants for supplier quality activities
？ Prepare reports regarding supplier quality status and activities
？ All other duties assigned

Requirements

Skills, Education and/or Experience
？ Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering Science
？ Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality field in manufacturing industry, automotive industry preferred
？ Experience and knowledge in cold forging, fastener, casting, heat treatment ,metallography and NDT
？ Certified auditor for quality system such as ISO9000 and ISO/TS 16949
？ Well experienced in APQP, PPAP activities
？ Fluent level of English and Mandarin (spoken and written), knowledge of German is an advantage
？ Skillful with MS Office applications
？ Proactive and strict working style
？ Good at communication and team work
？ Travel required
