The Sourcing & Purchasing department is currently looking for a talented Electronics Purchaser in order to guarantee the identification, qualification & supply of the convenient electronic/electric components.

Job Responsibilities
General
The Electronics Purchaser involves in a global sourcing and purchasing process to effectively manage the assigned portfolio and associated activities. An important aspect of this role is to be responsible for day to day management of the electronics commodity within purchasing and NPI (New Introduction Product) team. Maximizing supplier performance and supporting the company’s business plan for our advanced technological products.

1. Actively interact, negotiate & deal with authorized electronics components distributors in Asia, particularly in China (ARROW, FUTURE, AVNET, etc.): Price, L/T, MOQ
2. Act as a technical support for our internal R&D and Project Management teams: identify fairly-priced & available components for specific functional needs, source & qualify equivalent references of long L/T and/or expensive components.
3. Anticipate the group's sourcing needs by identifying & qualifying products & components to be used in the future: touch screens, solar cells, radio/GPRS modules, specific cables & connectors, newly-released microcontrollers
4. Monitor supplier performance of electronics/electric components suppliers and strengthen relationships: factory audit, regular communication, face-to-face meetings, negotiation of price, MOQ, L/T & payment terms.
5. Solve emergency sourcing & procurement situations through established professional network
6. Develop the group's network as well as its sourcing & procurement capability by participating to electronics fairs around China: Electronica Shanghai, CEF Shenzhen, Hong Kong Electronics Fair, etc.
7. Perform technology intelligence & provide insights & reports to top management

Job Requirements
Education and work experience:

- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in field of Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years sourcing & procurement experience in an Internationally-renowned Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) company
- Proficiency in MS Office & ERP software.

Personal skills:
- Self-motivated, proactive and passionate about new technologies & electronics.
- Ability to work under high pressure
- Solid problem solving and analytical skills-
- Fluency in written & spoken English
- Flexibility : many business trip are expected
