POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the Sale and Coordination of projects within B&W MEGTEC Shanghai. Position will research and pursue business opportunities across a diverse group of industries and products, with a specific focus on “air emission control for VOC (flue gas cleaning) vs. “equipment selling”.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
? Conduct thorough and ongoing territory/account reviews and analysis of competitive forces. Review market analyses to determine customer needs, and discount rates.
? Identification, pursuit, negotiation and closure of sales opportunities or perform the duty under the experience sales manager’s supervision..
? Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific B&W MEGTEC products and services.
? Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
? Work with the customers to develop an accurate scope of supply and communicate information effectively to Applications/Process and Project Engineering for costing purposes.
? Provide thorough review of bid specifications and documentation packages.
? Develop selling strategy, quote prices and credit terms as well as prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
? Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements under the guidance of sales manager.
? Travel through assigned territory and/or markets to call on regular and prospective customers and communicates with customers by phone and/or e-mail to solicit orders.
? Develop information networks via associations, OEMs, complementary equipment suppliers, and other industry events.
? Participate in industry trade shows and prepare and present B&W MEGTEC materials.
? Provide feedback to product design teams so that products can be tailored to clients' needs.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar discipline (Chemical or Mechanical or Electrical or Environmental or HVAC Engineering Degree Preferred)

Experience: 5 or more years’ internal sales or sales or related experience/training including capital equipment selling experience with international/global accounts and markets in the chemical, petrochemical, industrial boiler, metallurgy, cement or other process industries. Knowledge or work experience relating to B&W MEGTEC air pollution control products such as precipitators, scrubbers, thermal oxidizers, Solvent Recovery, NOx/SOx control systems.
Computer Skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word Processing software,
Spreadsheet software, Project management software and Database software.

Other Requirements
*Strong working knowledge of contract management
*Working knowledge of engineering drawings
