Responsibilities:
- Develop clay models accurately from designer sketches and renderings, following verbal direction and engineering constraints
- Create full and scale size models using a variety of materials such as clay, foam core, etc.
- Work on interior and exterior projects.
- Make molds and parts, fit and finish, painting. Some hard modeling activities.
- Follow the entire clay development process from concept to production approval in the set deadline.
Requirements:
- Five years as a clay modeler in the automotive industry is required, 10 years preferred.
- Design, engineering and diverse model development knowledge required.
- Team player with excellent communication skill.
- English language required. Chinese language a plus.
- Hard modeling is a plus.
