Dip-Tech Digital Ceramic In-Glass Printing

Customer Service

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for customers in China and Taiwan
- Acquire in depth product and technology knowledge
- Install mechanical machines at customer site
- Train new customers on operations and maintenance
- Provide on-site trouble shooting, repairs and solutions
- Phone and email support
- Software and hardware updates and upgrades
- Attend annual trade show
- Meet or exceed goals and objectives
- Deal with escalated situations and high profile customers
- Focal point for technical issues for Chinese customers
Work Environment:
This position requires 60% travel per calendar year within China, Taiwan and occasionally other countries.
Engineer must live within approximately 1 hour drive of an airport and train station.
Future Growth Opportunities:
Lead the China customer support operation
Desired Skills and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electronics engineering or equivalent
 
Experience:
5+ years of experience in mechanical installations
 
Skills:
- Chinese - Native tongue, English - excellent language skills (both written and oral)
- Exposure in the glass or digital printing industry a plus
- Diverse technical capabilities
- Experience in servicing, repair, and installations of other products
- Excellent interpersonal, listening and presentation skills
- Strong communicator and effective problem solver
- Customer focused with outstanding follow up
- Self-motivated, works independently and remotely without daily direction
- Management experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge in Illustrator and Photoshop a plus.
