职位描述：
Position to be based in China and act on behalf of Global Structures Manufacturing Engineering to assist with the quoting, design, procurement, timing, build, trial and buyoff of component stamping tools for off shore business units primarily in North America and Europe. Primary focus will be to act as a technical liaison between the tool maker and the off shore business unit to ensure tools are completed on time, to budget, to design specification, and deliver the required quality output.

Responsibilities:
? Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings including GD&T.
? Ability to evaluate and report progress of tooling programs and get back on track when delays are highlighted.
? Knowledgeable and experienced in stamping processes. Able to apply process knowledge to the tool design and support local tool makers in overcoming small issues within the die build process.
? Ability to complete programs on time and within budget.
? Ability to manage multiple programs and customers at the same time.
? Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner by spoken and/or written documents. Proficient English skills are a must.

Requirements:
5-10 years stamping tooling and application (recommended)
? Assist in the design and development of stamp tooling including but not limited to strip layouts, die construction and press specifications.
? Support local purchasing and off shore business units to quote and procure tools
? Assist Lear Corporate Purchasing on procurement of production and tryout material.
? Track and report progress of tooling programs from sourcing to a production ready state.
? Assist in the development and updating of tooling program timelines.
? Assist in the development of Die and Gage standards manual.
? Assist in development and improvement of current and new tooling sources.
? Act as liaison for manufacturing plant, customer, and staff headquarters during the tooling development and build cycle.
? Coordinate information between tooling suppliers and internal business groups through the Engineering Manager and or Local Manager
? Receive, catalog, copy, and distribute all engineering drawings for assigned programs as necessary.
? Ability to manage up to 40 tools at multiple tool makers simultaneously
? Frequent travel is required
? Full working knowledge of the Lear AS400 and PLM systems.
? Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Engineering Services.
