Position Summary
The Plant Accountant is a highly analytical and meticulous professional managing the accounting function for the Lighting business in China. In this role, you will lead one Account Officer to support the inventory management, costing, closing (monthly, Quarterly and annual), Audit and Tax functions. For this role, you will work closely with the Singapore F&C and Supply Chain Team and liaise with the external Co-packers, toll expeditor, China Custom and China Tax Authority.

You will be based in the Tximist Plant located at Block C, Fu Er Da Industrial Park ChongQin Road, FuYong Town, BaoAn District, Shenzhen reporting to the Senior Accountant based in Singapore. This is an important role and will require a person with very costing and inventory management background.

 Accountabilities
- Responsible for Inventory management which includes Write off, Obsolete provision and cycle count adjustment.
- In charge of coordinating the Annual stock count exercise with the Co-packer and Toll manufacturer.
- Responsible for Statutory, Internal and SOX audit
- Support Month end , Quarterly and Year end closing
- Provide support to Supply chain and Planning team related to logistics matters
- Provide support to Singapore AP and GL team in Finance matters
- Compute and maintain Transfer pricing
- Responsible for Material Master setup
- Coordinate and Perform costing function
- Assist in Tax enquiry and trade compliance function
- Responsible for analysing and reporting of cost data

Required Skills and Experience
- At least Three (3) years of working experience in manufacturing accounting functions specializing in costing and supply chain.
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- Meticulous and independent worker.
- Experience in working in a cross functional multinational environment.
- Analytical and meticulous individual.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak English and Mandarin to communicate with English and Mandarin speaking stakeholders and vendors.
