POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the day-to-day administration of policies and programs covering several or all of the following: compensation and benefits, recruitment, training, employee and labor relations, recordkeeping, expat service in support of the SBU. May have corporate responsibilities as well.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ø Training: Assists in identifying training needs, coordinates training, maintains database in line with company and individual personnel goals.
Ø Recruitment: Recruits and manages on boarding process including advertising, screening, interviewing, pre-employment testing, new hire paperwork, new hire orientation, SAP entry.
Ø HRIS &Recordkeeping: May maintain HRIS(SAP) database, maintain HR files.
Ø Benefits: Assists employees with benefits issues, new hire benefits training, coordination between carrier and employee.
Ø Compensation: Payroll administration through FESCO. Handles local/regional wage and salary surveys. Coordinates information with division/corporate as necessary. Analyzes trends.
Ø Employee/Labor Relations: Counsels management and employees regarding policies and procedures. Must have good working knowledge of any union or works council agreements in the SBU if any.
Ø Policy/Procedures: May write or revise SBU policies as needed. Disseminates new/revised policies to staff through training modules.
Ø Other HR Projects and Other responsibilities as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience/Skills Required
Any experience in training, recruiting, C&B and employee relations. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required. Result-oriented and keen on details and continuous improvement. Good team work and execution discipline. SAP user experience preferred.
Education/Training Required
Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office skills including spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and database management.
