职位描述：
Mission: Ensure logistic follow-up of air shipments exported from Asia origins to Carrefour Countries, in respect of regulation at the best cost and time.
Scope (All Gs, part of, all categories, few…..): All categories, responsible for all GS origins for airfreight.
Report to which position: GS Operations Manager.
Permanent responsibilities:
o Prepare the forecasting for orders in air shipment mode by making the split by forwarder, incoterm, rate and corridor.
o Make spot quotations for big lots in order to get best spot rates outside of the contracted rates.
o Follow and check export documentation for air shipment (Invoice, Packing List and C/O) to ensure smooth release of cargo upon arrival.
o Permanently ensure the flow tracing. (by flow tracing we are referring to the follow up of shipment after flight departure from origin till it reaches the destination airport. Pre-Alert must be sent correctly by forwarders with the right set of documents to avoid storage charges upon arrival).
o Follow up and organize goods transportation in respect of delivery period.
o Coordinate operations of forwarders to maintain delivery dates committed to countries.
o Ensure the respect of our SOP logistics procedures & internal process.
o Control & monitor the service providers and the KPI’s. (E.g. Lead time to airlift goods)
o Be pro-active, anticipate issues/delays & propose solutions. (The Air Shipping Operator will need to anticipate and neutralize any issues with the forwarders to ensure smooth operations. For air shipments, they need to consider the urgency to airlift the goods)
Interlocutors:
- Pool team, Suppliers, Commercial team, BU Import, Freight Forwarders.
Decision making (what kind of decision he can take in autonomy):
- Decide to chase suppliers/commercial team when urgent delivery of promo or delayed orders is concerned.
- Decide most relevant schedule/carrier to be used in order to reach targeted ETA.
- Decide to close a consolidation immediately or delay more few days according delivery period.
- Decide most relevant equipment to be used.
- Decide relevantly when to ask/request hierarchy support for carrier/ forwarder operational issues.
Profile to enter this position:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Working experience of 2-3 years in a freight forwarding company preferably in airfreight department.
- Organization & Anticipation skills; Persuasion & Negotiation skills.
- Priority Sense & Customer oriented.
- Motivated & willing to learn.
- Good Skills in MS Excel.
- Good Written and Oral Skills in English.
