Shipping Co-ordinator

An International Company is currently seeking high caliber to fill the following position:.

Minimum Requirements:
? Bachelor’s degree preferred
? Software: MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), database proficiency
? Experience using ERP systems
? 2-3 years of Operations Management experience
? Strong attention to detail required

Responsibilities:

? Receive from Supply Planner the list of containers approved for booking, send all booking request to Freight Forwarder, Supplier, and Agency
? Update ERP system (NetSuite) all information of each PO for booking confirmations
? Audit bills from Freight Forwarder and Trucking carriers, report errors to Client, upload and input all information in the master report.
? Timely and accurate receiving of purchase orders
? Monitor and track global and domestic purchase orders with 3PL, carriers and customs broker respectively
? Pull weekly open vendor invoices due for payment that week, validating pricing in invoice matches vendor Purchase Order price
? Run open purchase order report in Net Suite of open, unshipped containers, to be communicated with freight forwarders
? Validating forwarder invoices match fee schedule per agreement with Freight Forwarder
? Run misc container and open purchase order reports for operations team.

Key Requirements:

? Written and verbal communications skills in English and Chinese
? Must be flexible and willing to learn and change in a dynamic environment; ability to be creative with ideas to improve customer service and processes
? Maintain both customer satisfaction and phone/email response service levels by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational policies and procedures.
? Retrieve data from various databases; prepare required reports
? Perform related duties, as assigned
