Position Summary
Under little supervision, the Senior Hardware Engineer is responsible for design, analysis, test, release and support of industrial variable frequency motor drives products, consistent with company and industry standards for quality, safety and reliability while optimizing cost and manufactubility. This position works closely with the regional and global design engineering team as part of a cross functional team and will be mainly involved in design activities.

Experience Requirements:
        M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or Electromechanical Technology.
        5+ years of experience in dealing with complex electrical circuits and products. Strong ability in circuit and product system analysis or simulation (experience with tools e.g. Simplorer, Pspice or Matlab is a plus). Solid expertise on power conversion, power semiconductor device theory, applied electromagnetic theory, analog and digital circuit, electrical machinery, control, and test/development instrumentation.
        Experience in engineering document control and familiar with processing revisions on product documentation through the requirements of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
        The preferred candidate will have experience in the field of power electronics products -motor drives, power supply etc. (development engineering, qualification testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting).
        Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) processes/tools and SAP experience desired.
