The Executive which the EA support to was the overall responsible for Great China, and also be the General Manager of China, The Executive Assistant will be expected to act as the executive’s right hand and will be working as the coordinating & supporting link for the executive and the stakeholders internally and externally in order to control and manage the many diversified activities attending to the business.
Responsibilities
*Act as right hand and sparring partner of the RD/GM.
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting and communication to and from the Executive in relation to daily operational issues.
*Responsible for a number of projects such as: Procedures, policies, KPI-controlling and follow-up, business development and analysis, which will support the RD/GM in her daily work.
*Ad-hoc support of the RD/GM with regards to all business areas.
*Follow-up and secure implementation of Board decisions in relation to the RD/GM.
Success Criteria
*The EA is a success when the RD/GM will experience that she is fully updated on all relevant aspects of the business, that she is able to initiate immediate follow-up on decisions and has the resources to take action accordingly.
*The EA is a success when she is a genuine trustworthy sparring partner for the RD/GM.
*Secures a network internally throughout the ECCO Group and externally throughout dealer network and government network to support the RD/GM in her tasks.
Main Challenges
*Establish a good personal chemistry with RD/GM that naturally develops into a rewarding long-term cooperation.
Tasks:
*Follow RD/GM through thick and thin; accompany RD/GM on selected business travels in order to get a good business insight as well as to provide support.
*Sparring partner for the RD/GM in regards to business development.
*Keep the RD/GM fully updated regarding board activities and decisions by ensuring that they always have the relevant knowledge to hand.
*Develop and prepare RD/GM internal and external presentations, proposals and associated documents to Managing Board meetings, Supervisory Board meetings, staff meetings, regional meetings and external parties/visitors/customers.
*Collect, analyse and process data and information ahead of meetings.
*Work out analysis and board presentations and call attention to deviations etc.
*Keep a continuous overview of RD/GM’s tasks.
*Prepare executive summaries to the RD/GM.
*Draft all standard reports as required.
*Secure a continuous progress of running projects.
* Follow-up and secure implementation in regards to decisions relating to running projects.
* Act as starter and organiser of ad hoc initiatives as required.
* Secure that procedures and processes are followed in regional business units.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
-Bachelor degree in business, marketing or management, MBA preferred, overseas education preferred
Experience
-5-8 years, working experience in retail industry, MNC preferred
Mobility/Travel
-Frequent travel is needed a minimum of 50 days per year
Language
-Fluent English and Mandarin
Optional competencies
-Net-working, Self-motivated, problem solving and strong project management
