The Role:
The Shanghai Finance Manager is responsible for managing various Shanghai and Beijing offices’ accounting and finance activities. The Finance Manager must have great experience in working at a WFOE in China and working for few multi-national companies in the past. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of PRC accounting concept and accounting practice. The candidate is expected to have knowledge of PRC and local Shanghai tax rules. He/she is expected to manage treasury activities, monthly accounting activities, payroll and various statutory reporting. He/she also needs to prepare quarterly and annual tax filings. He/she needs to have experience in managing external audits and able to be the “local accounting expert” for Imagination’s HQ in US and UK. The Shanghai Finance Manager must be confident, self-motivated, proactive and work well under pressure and tight deadline. He/she must be a team player and reliable to deliver, yet excellent to work independently. He/she must have great communication and written skills in English.

Travel Requirements:
Role will be largely office based. Occasional travel around China may be required.

Opportunity: Working as part of the global finance team, this broad role will include the following responsibilities:
? Prepare Shanghai and Beijing accounting books from Purchase Order to Pay.
? Cash management and manage banking relationship
? Own payroll process from calculating employees’ individual income tax and social insurance to process payroll and related payments
? Oversee the processing of employee expense claims
? Complete monthly financial package to US Finance team and provide analysis of changes in Shanghai’s spending and ensure proper coding of expenses to chart of accounts
? Prepare routine tax returns and statutory reporting. Work with external advisers as needed
? Liaison with US office in various intercompany expenses and cross charges.
? Prepare input and output VAT and related returns
? Project manage other special projects as needed.
? Perform ah-hoc analysis as required.

Working with 30+ employees in the Shanghai and Beijing offices

Qualifications:
BA in accounting and finance (or similar)
Professional accountancy certification
Understand thoroughly China accounting and tax laws
Ten plus years in accounting/finance team, high technologies industry preferred.
Good Excel skill is a must. Prefer knowledge in local accounting software
Big 4 Accounting experience/CPA preferred
Fluent written and spoken English
Experience in dealing with Chinese government bodies related to taxation and international commerce. 举报 分享
