Currently, we have an opening for a Field Applications Specialist based in Shanghai, P.R.China.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Provide product and scientific knowledge to our customers on a service-oriented way through phone call, email or site visit
2.Work with Channel Managers and Distributors to perform routine and technically challenging demos for customers/potential customers as required
3.Work with Channel Managers and other Field Applications Specialists to prioritize work with customers
4.Respond to and document customer complaints to ensure resolution in a timely manner
5.Visit key labs to trouble shoot and optimize protocols
6.Execute and assist in the product education of in-house personnel, customers and distributors
7.Assist in part maintenance and repair of demo units if requested
8.Represent STEMCELL Technologies at conferences, workshops and trade shows as required
9.Perform analysis on demos and market as required
10.Assist in revenue generation to meet revenue targets
11.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications
1.MSc or PhD in Immunology, Hematology, Cell Biology or an Applied Science
2.Outstanding reading and written English is essential
3.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
4.Strong time management and organizational skills
5.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team
6.Ability to explain scientific and technical information to both experts and non-experts alike
7.Excellent trouble-shooting and customer service skills
